Mobile Care and Rural Outreach

Bringing Healthcare to Rural Communities

SMVA Trust is dedicated to reaching every corner of Andhra Pradesh to provide medical care to those who need it the most. With this in mind, the trust conducts mobile medical camps all year long in villages and rural areas where people cannot easily reach hospitals.

Surveys by hospital staff and volunteers help identify areas that require immediate medical attention. Based on the findings, SMVA Trust conducts medical camps with volunteer doctors who travel to remote areas, even to those who cannot afford bus fare or are physically unable to walk.

Specialists for Unique Medical Needs

During these camps, we gain insight into the local problems and environmental issues faced by communities, such as high levels of fluoride in the water, poor sanitation, and lack of women's safety. The trust collects data and brings specialists to the hospital to treat patients with unique medical needs.

Improving the Health of Rural Communities Through these efforts, SMVA Trust is working towards providing healthcare to rural communities, where access to healthcare is limited.

The trust’s mobile medical camps play a crucial role in identifying and treating illnesses, while also providing preventive healthcare education to help improve the overall health of these communities.
